It is with great pleasure we can send out this invitation for our first event of the new year which is now our 11th year as the leading golf & travel media association in Europe.
Our first event takes us to Italy and more specific, the most Southern region of Puglia. The region is known as the 'Stiletto in the heel of Italy' and borders the Adriatic and Ionian seas. One of the richest archeological areas in Italy first conquered by the Greeks. There are plenty of castles in the area none more spectacular than the Castel del Monte in Apulia.
Our hosts for this event are the owners of the 5* Resort of Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, Italy.
.Borgo Egnazia is located in the heart of Puglia, immersed among the ancient olive groves of the Itria valley and only steps away from the crystal blue Adriatic sea of Savelletri. Accommodation is provided within the resort which offers various types of rooms and villas. A full leisure and activity centre is at the heart of what Borgo Egnazia provides to their discerning guests
Also next door is the San Domenico Golf, a course designed by the off spring of the European Tour, European Golf Design, with the lead architect for this project, Andy Haggar. Built to full USGA specifications, San Domenico is a classic links styled course, characterized by the typical Mediterranean vegetation. Next to the low bushes of thyme, rosemary, sage and mint, sprout the ancient and uniquely beautiful olive trees, becoming the club’s emblem. The course is flanked by the ancient city of Egnathia with ruins dating back to the 5th century BC. The program consists of golf and other activities to showcase the resort and what it offers to travellers from all over Europe.
